Sync in Progress

Been a lot more chillax after finishing my giant presentation board. Though I do have an other presentation for a client on the 21st, I still feel that I deserve a little laze break. So I did some
grocery shopping (FINALLY) which is one of my favorite "outdoor" activities. I LOVE GROCERY SHOPPING! On my way back from the grocery store, I saw this sign saying "Prepare to be Delighted ---- Mandarin Oriental."

I was SOOOOO delighted that I almost fell on the ice. Mandarin Oriental is one of my favorite brands of hotel. There are almost not ONE Mandarin Oriental have ever disappoint me. Everything they do is full of thought and super consistent. I really would love to see the hotel be built before I leave chicago. AND it's only one block away from my apt. OMGOMGOMGOMG. It will be the 2nd hotel in Chicago that is ACTUALLY worth to try. The other one that I think was worth trying is The Wit, which is also a block away from my apt. So of course I tried it already. It wasn't as sophisticated as I thought (apparantly the lobby tricked a lot of people). But is was still worth trying. I've been complaining endlessly that a big city like Chicago, only have so little "good hotels." There are a lot of big brands like Park Hyatt, Ritz, Sofitel ... blah blah blah, and the design is NO DESIGN. I mean... so typical. Don't even mention the boutique ones that are trying to be fancy. Name W, which should be a brand that is "SAFE" but I was SO disappointed (functionally and aesthetically) with their rooms that I almost had to cry. If I were to write an entry to complain about bad hotels, it would turn out to be an aggressive research paper. ANYWAY, I am soososoososososoososososososososososososo looking forward for this Mandarin Oriental to be built, and since all these SAFE hotels had disappoint me in chicago, I hope that his M.O will not be my first disappointed M.O.

BACK TO WORK.
with snacks. :)
