I would say that it was the most wonderful Christmas and New Year I ever had. I had not spend both the Christmas AND New Year with my family for the longest time, but I spent my entire winter break in Vancouver with my family, and I felt good. SO good.
There was a lot of Xbox-ing, furniture shopping and of course eating at home in Vancouver. I had so much fun seeing my dad and uncles being like a kid dancing hip-hop and robot in front of the TV. Precious! Mommy and Daddy's cooking were heavenly and daily. Though I had to sacrifice some of my chill time to do some final work for our soon to be new home in Vancouver.
Alex join us the day before New Year's Eve. I was so happy to see that he made my parents laugh a lot. My worried for the past 2 months seems silly to me now.
On New Year's Eve, we had the greatest "fusion" dinner. It was a fuse of French/Italian/Canton/Sichuan. Anything you would ever wanted is on the table.
Our Two Legit Major Contributors
Alex made Foie Gras which was Oh-So-Good. He also made Clam and Mussel Pasta (Dad's FAV) , and dad said,"This would definitely save us a lot of money from flying to Italy for the food!" So the west was brilliant, but the east was OF COZ HOT! Dad was excited that Alex could eat spicy so he made EVERYTHING spicy leaving only 2 dishes that's edible for mom and sailo's girlfriend. It was funny and delish. (smile)

The next day we went to Whistler to ski. There was of course too many embarrassing moments on the way to Whistler AND AT Whistler. We had to stop 200 times while driving to look for washroom for me because of the too much spicy food I had the night before. And of course my too many loosing control moment trying to do my "pizza" accurately during my first time skiing. It was a lot of fun.

Cuddly Brothers
Been back to chicago for a week now. Everything back to normal. Winter class is SO CHILL. I am hoping to use my remaining break to put together a decent portfolio. Hopefully find a real job so I can stay in America for a little bit after I graduate.
I think I already started to miss Chicago.
