So this class I am taking only meets 2 days a week. All project/research are done outside of class, which usually only take me one or two hours to complete, leaving me plenty of time to enjoy/love my life. I had some awesome gatherings with friends this week.
Tuesday we hung out with Maite and Da alllllllll day. Just chilling, hair cutting, eating and definitely some hardcore dancing (on xbox kinect). I guess I spent a good amount of time fighting with Alex about this racism topic too, which was pretty bogus, but Da brought home some yummy sushi and we all shushed. So that was fun.

Thursday I went out to dinner at Socca with Aaron, his wife Shuchi, and Ceyda. My school buddies. Haven't seen them since winter break started. Surely missed them a lot!! There were some VERY weird conversation evolved due to my "innocence." HA! But it was an awesome evening with them bitches. *WINK*
Yesterday Alex and Adam both had day offs. So Adam slept over at ours the night before, and we went to my hood - China town - for brunch at noonish. We went to Adam's new apartment for the first time. He rented this TWO bedroom apartment. It was GIGANTIC. So he used one of them to be his little studio with keyboard, drum set and all. It was my first time seeing them play music together. Sounds like Beh and Adam are gonna "re-band" with some other people, which it pretty cool I think. I was totally impressed by their casual jam in that little crowded room. It looked like they are having a lot of fun. *SMILE*
Oh and of COURSE I did some cooking while Adam was over.
Braised Oxtail
辣子雞 - Chicken with dried Chilly Pepper and Spices
Desert - Balsamic Strawberries

We had our 9:00 dinner reservation at BOKA. Haven't dine out with Alex for quite awhile because he has been so busy at work. It was our little sweet dinner date. The restaurant was actually better than I expected. I love their chill atmosphere/design. The food... um... I wouldn't say it's the best but it was up to standard. It is a restaurant that I wouldn't go twice but definitely one that I would recommend.

One of the dishes that was pretty good in our tasting menu
Though it was a nice dinner, Alex is getting a little sick (AGAIN) due to dressing too FANCY. Just made him a hot bath and honey lemon hot tea. Hope the cold is not gonna get worse.
I like the layout of the blog, as well as those cool 'labels' with food, friends, and life there. reminds me of those 'keywords' in the article review. ok. u will call me nerd again. but this is how i find it soo cool
